The
Backroom Is Back!
That's right. Due to
renovations to the Backroom, we have been meeting in the main
restaurant area. We have had some good meetings there but really it
was too noisy to be productive.
But now the renovations are
done and we are back - that is cause to celebrate!
This Thursday, besides
basking in the glow of fresh paint and a glass of whatever, we have three
things to discuss:
1) A Backroom Warming Party
(March 5)
2)
ITI - World Theatre Day
(March 27)
3)
BTC
150 Vignettes Project
So, see you all Thursday
evening!
Upcoming Events
Mark these Backroom events in your calendar:
1)
Thursday, March 5 - Backroom Warming Party
Bring your friends and family for snacks, good theatre chatting, and a
play reading!
Yes, we will be reading Julian Worker's exciting play "Talk to you
Later" - a thought-provoking and funny take on modern personal
communications. Soundbites are all around, sometimes
intriguing, sometimes annoying, always impersonal.
We need two female and three male readers. Interested?

2) ITI - World Theatre Day, March 26
We will be celebrating World Theatre Day on the Thursday, although the
official day is Friday. Here too we will be needing actors. There are
several possibilities which we will discuss this Thursday.
See you on Thursday

Stage Manager Needed
Vagabond Players is in desperate need of a stage manager for Marion
Bridge, the drama by Daniel MacIvor. It's community theatre so it's a
volunteer position, but it's a great way to get involved in the theatre
club. The play is directed by Paul Tourneur and runs April 2 - 25, Thurs
through Sun.
